These are the terms you agree to when you use this website or run a node with Myntli. Please read them before you subscribe.
1. Who we are
Myntli is a product of Tradiant LLC, a company registered in Georgia. Contact: hello@myntli.com.
2. What we sell
We sell a service: we install, host, monitor, update and back up a BTCPay Server node for you, and wire it into your shop. BTCPay Server itself is free open-source software under the MIT licence, and you could run it yourself for nothing. What you are paying us for is the setting up and the running of it, and somebody to ask when it breaks.
On the hosted plan the server is included. If you ask us to install on a server you own, the server and its costs are yours.
3. We are not a payment provider, and we never hold your money
This is the most important term here.
Your node is configured with your wallet, from a public key you supply. The private keys never exist on the node and are never given to us. Payments go directly from your buyer to your wallet. We do not take custody of your bitcoin at any point, we cannot spend it, and we cannot freeze or reverse a payment.
It follows that you alone are responsible for your keys and your backup of them. If you lose your seed phrase, your bitcoin is gone and nobody — not us, not anyone — can recover it. Please make a backup before you take your first payment, and test it.
We are not a money transmitter, an exchange or a custodian, and nothing we do should be taken as financial advice.
4. Paying for the service
Tradiant LLC is the seller and appears as such on your receipt. Checkout runs on our own ReplaPay installation. You may pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay — processed by Stripe — or in bitcoin.
Prices are shown in US dollars and are exclusive of any tax that may be due in your country; where we are obliged to charge VAT or sales tax, it is shown before you pay. The monthly plan renews each month until you cancel. The one-off plan is a single payment for the installation, after which the server and its running are yours.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel any month, and you keep your store. There is no minimum term and no exit fee.
When you cancel, we will either hand the node over to you — you take the server and carry on — or shut it down, whichever you ask for. Tell us which within 30 days of cancelling. We keep your node and its data for 30 days after the subscription ends so you have time to decide, then we delete it.
Because your wallet is yours, your money is never caught up in cancelling. Whatever happens to the node, the coins are already in your wallet.
6. Refunds
If the node is not working as described and we cannot put it right, tell us within 14 days of the setup finishing and we will refund you in full.
After that, monthly fees already paid are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time and will not be charged again. A refund of a bitcoin payment is made in bitcoin, at the value received, less network fees.
If you are buying as a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right to change your mind. Where you ask us to begin the installation inside that period, you agree we may start, and you lose the right once the work is complete. Nothing in these terms removes any right the law gives you.
7. What we promise about uptime
We monitor your node and aim to keep it running continuously. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee or service credits, and we will not pretend otherwise. We will tell you when we plan maintenance, and we will work on an unplanned outage as quickly as we can.
Some things are outside our control: the Bitcoin network itself, your shop, your hosting provider if you supply the server, and your domain names.
8. What we ask of you
- Keep your own backup of your wallet seed phrase, offline.
- Do not use the node for anything unlawful, and comply with the rules that apply to you where you trade — including any tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering duties. Those are yours, not ours.
- Tell us before you make changes to the node yourself, so we do not undo each other’s work.
We may suspend or end the service if it is being used unlawfully, or if a payment fails and is not put right after we have asked.
9. Your data
Your invoices, your buyers’ details and your settings are yours. Because we run the machine, we have administrative access to it; what that means in practice is set out plainly in our Privacy Policy, and we would rather you read it than assume.
10. Using this website
Please do not attempt to break into this website, disrupt it, or use it to send anyone anything unlawful. The text, images and branding on it belong to us. BTCPay Server is the trade mark of its own project and is used here to describe what we install.
11. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We run it carefully and we use BTCPay ourselves, but we cannot promise it will be free of faults or that it will suit a particular purpose of yours. Please take a test payment before you rely on it for real money.
12. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost business, a fall in the price of bitcoin, a payment you did not receive, or any indirect loss.
We are not liable for the loss of your keys or your coins, because we never hold either.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Which law applies
This agreement is governed by the law of Georgia, and the courts of Georgia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law of the country you live in.
14. The whole agreement
These terms, together with your invoice, are the whole agreement between us. If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may change these terms; if a change materially affects you we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
